"We tend to look at him today from an insular point of view …" says Louis Kissajukian of Captain Cook, suggesting that those in other countries perhaps rate him higher than we do.
"The Americans and English see him as the most important figure in the world at that time. There's enormous interest in him overseas. I've had clients in Hawaii wanting Cook prints, even one in Macau."
