Kit Willow was in a helicopter returning from Heron Island when she had an epiphany.

“Flying over the turquoise colours of the Great Barrier Reef was so incredibly beautiful ... then what blew me away was the stark contrast of the black ugliness of the Carmichael coal mine,” says the Sydney fashion designer. “It really highlighted for me the unfathomable impact human activity is having on nature, and the drastic need to find a solution.”
