You’ve got to hand it to Tim Ross. The comedian and radio personality turned his love of Australian mid-century design into a career, and even a global pandemic can’t stop him.

Through his ABC-TV shows, two books and the live show Man About The House (performed in iconic buildings around the country), Ross is a passionate advocate for the design of the 1950s, '60s and '70s. He happily segues from the drive-in motels of our collective childhood to serious architects like Seidler, Murcutt and Boyd. He lives in a classic 1959 home, replete with kidney-shaped pool and red lino floors.
