Aboriginal art will storm back into New York this year when Sotheby’s revives its annual auction that was cancelled last year when one of the event’s main drivers died in a fishing incident off Sydney Heads.

Saleroom can report that Sotheby’s will hold the Indigenous art auction at a date to be announced in May.
