Actors and casting agents are riding an "explosion" in film and TV productions in Australia, with resurgent COVID-19 in North America and Europe rebalancing the global entertainment industry.

Major Hollywood studios, Australian TV productions and streaming services Netflix and Stan have restarted production work after the peak of coronavirus shutdowns in the Queensland and NSW, with demand for actors and crew reaching across the country.
