With shows like Rent, In the Heights, Avenue Q and Hamilton to his credit, Jeffrey Seller has a reputation as of one Broadway’s most successful producers of musical theatre.
But as he emerged from hotel quarantine to oversee the final rehearsals and previews of the Australian production of Hamilton ahead of its official opening next Saturday, it was another of Seller’s creations that was resonating with those for whom the usual tickets – ranging from $70 to $350 – are a song too far.
