Bain Capital is preparing the way for Virgin Australia to return to the ASX after a five-year absence, with the airline’s executives to meet prospective investors on Tuesday to pitch their surge in profitability.
The company is also preparing for its first shareholders outside the private equity giant and Qatar Airways, which is buying 25 per cent of the airline, by recruiting for a new investor relations function.
