Electric car pioneer Tesla dropped from having the third-biggest selling model of any new vehicle player in September in Australia, to No.17 in October in a market where overall sales climbed by 16.9 per cent compared with a year ago.
The solid rise in sales of new vehicles comes at a time when households are more nervous about rising costs and the Reserve Bank of Australia keeps lifting rates to try to curb runaway inflation.
