Qantas loses senior executive; tasks BCG with repair job

Qantas has lost another senior executive days after Alan Joyce’s early resignation, as chief information officer Sam Charmand stepped away amid growing expectation the airline will have to invest heavily in customer-facing systems.

The departure comes as The Australian Financial Review revealed Qantas’ new chief executive, Vanessa Hudson, has tasked Boston Consulting Group with assisting the airline repair its fractious relationship with customers.
