Qantas locked in new legal battle with US workforce

Qantas is engaged in yet another legal battle with its workforce, over allegations it underpaid aircraft engineers based in Los Angeles as much as $US10 million ($14.9 million).

As Australia moves to eliminate labour hire loopholes to stop companies like Qantas from employing workers on different contracts and at different rates of pay to do the same job, engineers in the United States have launched a class action against the airline.
