Qantas raises the cost of changing tickets by a whopping 20pc

Qantas has hiked the fees it charges to change tickets by 20 per cent, even as the airline pledges to win over angry travellers by making it easier to modify flights.

From October 9, Qantas customers will have to pay $119 (up from $99) to change their name or the date of travel, or cancel domestic economy and premium economy tickets. They will also have to pay any difference in the airfare.
