NSW Premier Mike Baird vows to push WestConnex through
NSW Premier Mike Baird has vowed to push through Sydney's controversial $16.8 billion WestConnex motorway despite conceding the government could have better handled consultation, including over the forced acquisition of properties.
The project, which connects western Sydney with the city's inner west, was attacked by opposition infrastructure spokesman Anthony Albanese earlier on Wednesday as an example of poor planning processes.
