Hrdlicka says Virgin Australia is IPO-ready when ‘market reopens’

Virgin Australia chief executive Jayne Hrdlicka says the airline is ready to list on the ASX as soon as financial markets reopen, as she prepares to hand over the top job and the task of convincing fund managers to buy-in.

Speaking on the sidelines of the International Air Transport Association annual meeting in Dubai, Ms Hrdlicka said Virgin would wait for signs of life in stalled capital markets before going back to local fund managers to spruik its strategy.
