Virgin Australia chief executive Jayne Hrdlicka is leaving the airline, all but scuppering any chance of the company relisting on the ASX this year.
In a letter to staff on Tuesday, Ms Hrdlicka said she was “grateful for the opportunity to be part of this very special culture”. She did not provide a leaving date or any reason for her exit. Her departure comes four months after the executive overseeing the airline’s float plans, David Marr, quit.
