The Albanese government is gathering steam in its push to build a high-speed rail network on the east coast, as it begins a hunt for executives to lead the project.
The government is searching for rail and infrastructure experts to direct the high-speed rail authority, an agency formed to acquire rail corridors and co-ordinate the development of a fast train network from Melbourne to Brisbane.
