F1 supplier PWR shows there is such a thing as a free lunch
PWR Holdings, which makes hi-tech cooling systems for most of the Formula One racing teams and for high-end supercars like the $4 million Aston Martin Valkyrie, is taking a low-tech approach in trying to keep staff happy.
Chief executive Kees Weel says a large staff canteen with two full-time chefs serving about 300 staff a hot breakfast, morning tea and lunch for free each day at its Ormeau factory on the Gold Coast is a small way of tackling the skilled labour shortage.
