Car buyers going greener turn to hybrids not full EVs

New vehicle buyers wanting to help the environment are increasingly opting for an each-way bet and choosing hybrid vehicles instead of full battery electric vehicles.

The Toyota RAV4 sports utility vehicle was the biggest-selling vehicle in Australia in August, with 6712 delivered to buyers, and incredibly, 95 per cent of them were hybrid versions.
