Buoyant business travel pushes Qantas over resurgent Virgin

Qantas is once again the most popular domestic airline after briefly giving up the crown to Virgin Australia, proving too strong a draw for the lucrative corporate travel market over the first three months of the year.

The market share data, published by the competition regulator on Tuesday, means Virgin’s run as the country’s most popular domestic airline has ended after just one quarter and in the lead-up to an expected re-listing on the ASX, a widely anticipated float that is now pencilled in for July.
