Airfares are falling fast, but not to every city

Airfares are falling much faster into the United States than they are to Europe, as capacity and competition rebound, bringing cheaper seats for consumers.
Flight Centre chief executive Graham Turner said restricted capacity on European flights – particularly through the Middle East – meant fares were “just as expensive” as they were last year, while US capacity had returned to pre-pandemic levels.
