Webjet asked customers for thousands of dollars in additional payments well after they had booked with the online travel agency, and failed to properly disclose its fees, says the nation’s consumer regulator.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says Webjet misled customers for more than five years by promoting airfares without disclosing the fees of between $34.90 and $54.90.
