ACCC puts airlines on notice as domestic fares hit 15-year high

The competition watchdog says it is will “monitor closely” domestic airlines to ensure they add extra seats and flights to bring down airfares, which have hit 15-year highs.

An Australian Competition and Consumer Commission airline monitoring report found December fares were about 27 per cent higher than they were in October 2019.
