It was quite bemusing that Mark Mulligan’s article on beach cabanas included a finger wag at Millennials’ and Gen-Z’s supposed lack of “old-fashioned” respect for others and a general lack of “civilised behaviour” (“Tent cities on the beach? It’s un-Australian”).
