Rhythm Snowsports owner Mick Klima says cost-of-living pressures and weak early snowfall are responsible for sales at his NSW ski shop being down 25 per cent on last year.

However, he is confident numbers will pick up as powder hounds who check forecasts before hitting the slopes will descend upon Mount Perisher or Thredbo after further snowfalls.
