A United States-based investment in Australian hospitality player Baillie Lodges has begun to pay dividends with the local company having used the new capital to acquire and draw up $10 million in renovation plans for a Northern Queensland location.
Baillie Lodges announced on Wednesday that they would take over Silky Oaks Lodge, which sits on the edge of Daintree National Park, from April this year through a deal negotiated by JLL Hotels' Tom Gibson.
