Whispir signs $1.32m deal with Singtel

Whispir stock jumped 6 per cent on news the cloud communication platform and workflow software company has signed a SG$1.3 million ($1.32 million) contract with Singtel to replace its core SMS notification systems across 21 countries.

Whispir’s customers include BHP, Rio Tinto, Telstra, Foxtel, Australia Post and Qantas as well as global players, but since the pandemic hit it has been asked to help many government agencies get up and running within 24 hours to respond to COVID-19.
