Optus raises monthly mobile plan prices by 5-6pc

Optus has quietly raised prices of its cheapest and most popular monthly mobile phone plans for new customers by 5-6 per cent, above the rate of inflation, blaming higher costs.
“Due to the increasing costs to maintain and provide a great network experience, we’ve made the difficult decision to increase the price of some of our mobile plans,” an Optus spokesman said.
