NBN-Telstra rethink could unlock billions for internet access: Wylie

If improving internet access is to be done through the NBN, there’s a different and better way for this to be funded.

Improving internet access for Australians in regional and remote Australia is an undoubtedly worthy objective.

The government this week announced a further $3 billion investment into NBN Co to do just that, funded ultimately by the taxpayer, together with $800 million more borrowing by the national broadband network.
