Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch has spent a lot of time in regional Australia over the past six months.

He and about a dozen employees have spent hours scoping out the season’s yearlings at farms across Australia and New Zealand to try to find the best horses for the thoroughbred racehorse auction house’s flagship sale in January.
