Rugby needs to face financial reality, says former Wallaby captain
Former Wallabies captain Stephen Moore said Australia's top players must be prepared to face financial reality and take a pay cut as part of the overhaul of rugby in Australia.
As the code deals with the resignation of Rugby Australia chief executive Raelene Castle on Thursday and the global disruption of the coronavirus pandemic, Mr Moore said he hoped the turmoil surrounding rugby would be an impetus to restructure the game to win back fans and sponsors.
