‘No time’ to get business case for Brisbane Games stadium

The Queensland government is yet to commission a business case for the widely scrutinised decision to build a temporary stadium as the centrepiece for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
Tensions flared at a parliamentary hearing in Brisbane on Wednesday just hours after the city’s Games boss, Andrew Liveris, pleaded on the world stage for elected officials not to turn the Olympic preparations into a “political football”.
