Former NSW premier Barry O’Farrell will temporarily lead embattled NRL club Wests Tigers, after several board directors and its chief executive stood down from their positions following years of disastrous on-field performances and ongoing financial woes.
Wests Tigers chairman Lee Hagipantelis and chief executive Justin Pascoe are among the victims of a major restructure of the club, which was proposed following an extensive review of governance by one of its shareholders, Holman Barnes Group.
