Andrews government to face inquiry into scrapping Commonwealth Games
The Andrews government will face more heat over its shock decision to cancel the Commonwealth Games after the Victorian Liberals won unanimous support from the crossbench to hold a parliamentary inquiry into the debacle.
Victorian auditor-general Andrew Greaves on Wednesday confirmed he would also probe the Commonwealth Games cancellation after being approached by the Liberals, meaning Premier Daniel Andrews could face a two-pronged examination.
