Woolworths CEO to forgo $2.6m bonus over scandal

Woolworths chief executive Brad Banducci will forgo a $2.6 million bonus this year after  taking responsibility for the retailer underpaying staff by as much as $300 million over the last nine years.

After flagging last month that he expected to lose his bonus because of the wage underpayments scandal,  Mr Banducci confirmed on Wednesday his short-term bonus of $2.6 million would not be paid in 2020.
