Adore Beauty co-founder Kate Morris says bringing in Tennealle O'Shannessy as chief executive in late August was the right move as the business looks to sharpen up its customer experience and ratchet higher to the next level of growth.

The online cosmetics and beauty products company put in place the new boss as it prepares to list on the Australian Securities Exchange, in what is expected to be a $600 million-plus float.
