Tribe Brewing creditors to get 5.3¢ in the dollar in buyout plan

Unsecured creditors owed $72 million in the collapse of craft beer company Tribe Brewing are set to receive just 5.3¢ in the dollar under a buyout proposal by a group including former Kathmandu founder Jan Cameron being recommended by the administrators.

A report on the collapse by administrators FTI Consulting said 19 different parties had signed a confidentiality agreement in the sale process, and three non-binding indicative offers were received. But only one submitted an offer in a form deemed acceptable by administrators Chris Hill and Joseph Hansell, who have recommended it to creditors.
