Road trips drive booming Bapcor sales

Motorists preparing for road trips around their state are helping to drive fresh sales and profit momentum at car parts group Bapcor, which runs the Autobarn, Burson, Autopro and Midas chains.
Bapcor chief executive Darryl Abotomey said on Thursday that the robust growth in the sector was showing no signs of letting up, with people spending more on their vehicles with overseas travel off the agenda.
