Post COVID supply chains are 'just in case' not 'just in time'

Officeworks' managing director Sarah Hunter said the coronavirus pandemic meant the retailer was ordering stock "just in case", a big change from "just in time" supply chains of the past.

As people began working from home, the major challenge for the retailer was keeping up with demand from customers and trying to anticipate what they want.
