Lynch Group blooms again after torrid lockdowns

Australia’s biggest cut flower supplier, Lynch Group, says revenues for January and February are set to surpass those of last year even though it had to charter planes to bring in roses from overseas ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The company, which operates seven flower farms across Australia and China, listed on the ASX in April, but was hit hard by lockdowns in Sydney and Melbourne in July and August, which caused logistics mayhem and a much higher rate of wastage than usual.
