Global outdoor and sports company KMD Brands has named former Crocs executive Megan Welch to head its camping and hiking brand, Kathmandu, as it makes its international push.

She is the third woman to lead a brand within the KMD stable, with Brooke Farris running Rip Curl and Amy Beck leading US boots brand Oboz.
