Jeanswest, the denim and casualwear retailer which opened its first store more than five decades ago, will close more than 90 shops after collapsing into administration, leaving hundreds of staff without work.
The company had been owned by Harbour Guidance, a subsidiary of a Hong Kong group run by clothing and textiles mogul Chun Fan Yeung, since 2020 – when it last fell into administration at the start of the pandemic.
