JB Hi-Fi boss Richard Murray is confident shoppers will support local retailers rather than head back to the big malls as sweeping government restrictions put in place to fight the spread of COVID-19 are slowly lifted.

The consumer electronics retailer enjoyed a double-digit sales boost in the third quarter as the community locked down and shoppers set up home offices, upgraded TVs and bought new gaming consoles to work and entertain themselves at home.
