Domino’s Pizza faces market scepticism over France, Japan turnaround
Domino’s Pizza Enterprises’ plan to turn around its troubled businesses in France and Japan has a “lack of transparency and conviction”, Goldman Sachs says.
Writing to clients after the ASX-listed pizza restaurant chain held a strategy day on Friday, the investment bank’s brokers said the company’s management, led by long-time chief executive Don Meij, had not convinced her that there was “a path to clear recovery other than further discounting and pausing of store roll-out . . . to restore profitability”.
