Aldi commits to zero waste to landfill

Sue Mitchell

ALDI Australia has upped the ante on larger rivals Woolworths and Coles by setting ambitious targets to send zero food or other waste to landfill by 2025.

ALDI’s commitment will start with food, with the discount retailer committing to achieve zero food waste sent to landfill by 2023. This is two years ahead of Woolworths’ commitment for zero food waste to landfill by 2025.
