PwC global intervenes in Australian tax leaks scandal

PwC Australia chief executive Tom Seymour stepped down on Monday after pressure from the firm’s global leadership, according to a source, however the firm maintains that he made the decision after coming to an agreement with the Australian board.

Senior PwC global executives flew into Sydney last weekend, showing that the issue has become an international concern for the consulting giant, which centred a 2021 rebrand known as “The New Equation” around “building trust across the value chain”.
