Paul Howes was appointed a director at KPMG working as a consultant advising on business transformation, transactions and superannuation.

The high-profile Mr Howes formally stood down as national secretary of the Australian Workers’ Union last week. John Somerville, head of advisory at KPMG Australia, said it was the first time the company had hired a senior unionist.
