No sick leave for terminated executive: PwC

Australia’s largest professional services firm, PwC, hit back at claims by a former executive that it refused to grant her personal leave after she lost her job in its 250-strong redundancy round last July.

Former PwC financial services director Jennifer Whittaker sued the firm in November, alleging it breached workplace laws by refusing to grant her personal leave when she was injured and unable to work within days of the firm deciding her role was redundant.
