Link Group is nearing the end of a costly United Kingdom nightmare, with Dublin-based Waystone Group in exclusive talks to buy the troubled British arm, Link Fund Solutions.

A second part to Link’s strife in the UK is also coming to an end with the superannuation administration and share registries company in “advanced discussions” with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), to settle an investigation over the conduct of LFS in the high-profile collapse of a $6 billion British investment fund in 2019.
