Legal privilege an ‘attraction’ in law firm’s consulting play

Clients attracted by the veil of legal privilege are prompting law firms to expand into consulting, HPX Group chief executive Nick Humphrey says.
HPX Group, which includes law firm Hamilton Locke, this week inked a deal to buy privacy consultancy Salinger Privacy. The acquisition will be rolled into HPX’s existing IT-focused consulting and legal business Helios.
