Law firms boost partner ranks, but wary of 2023

Australia’s leading law firms say they are approaching 2023 with caution despite again growing their partnership ranks over the past six months.

The total number of partners at 50 of the nation’s biggest law firms will surpass 4000 for the first time in January, according to the latest Australian Financial Review Law Partnership Survey, with 177 new partners to take the total to 4150.
