It’s official, women take over the legal profession

Women have officially taken over the legal profession in Australia, with 53 per cent of solicitors now female and every state and territory reporting more women lawyers than men for the first time.
The 2020 National Profile of Solicitors shows numbers have grown by 45 per cent since 2011 and that women were responsible for 67 per cent of the increase.
